IMDB Drinking Game

IMDB is basically my lord and savior in terms of movies. I don't know where I'd be without it. I have an IMDB search box in my browser. I reference it on every review, I use it to look up those random character actors I recognize from who knows where, I look up quotes and statistics, and I randomly happen upon remakes with it. It's my favourite.

Therefore, I have made up a drinking game involving IMDB. It's really the only reasonable thing to do with something you love: turn it into a deranged, irresponsible excuse for drinking booze! I don't actually condone irresponsible drinking, so this game has a (completely necessary) built-in designated driver. Also, drink water and eat salty things. And don't puke.

The rules of the game are fairly complicated, like everything else I do, but should be easily understood:

1. Designate a driver. This person will act as the IMDB moderator. If you don't need a DD (hint: if there's a car involved, you need a DD), you should rotate the moderator after every turn or five so that everyone has a shot at binge drinking (or taking a break).
2. Decide what you're drinking (if you haven't already) and whether "one drink" will count as "a sip" or "a shot" or "CHUG THE WHOLE DAMN THING!"
3. Choose a movie or television show that no one has seen before (or hasn't seen in a long time).
4. While watching the TV show or movie, call out actors/actress's name or a from where you're recognizing them. The moderator is not allowed to call out names/filmographies.
5. The moderator fact checks on IMDB. If she/he got the actor/actress correct, everyone takes a drink. If she/he did not get the actor/actress correct, she/he takes two drinks.
6. If anyone calls out a headliner (someone whose name was on the cover of the movie), they have to take two drinks.
